2.2 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor - 6MB shared level 3 cache;
4GB of 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM (at a later state upgraded to 6GB);
500GB 5 400 rpm hard drive;
15.4-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen dispaly: 1440 by 900 pixels;
Intel HD Graphics 3000;
AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics processor with 512MB of GDDR5 memory;
Built-in FaceTime HD camera;
8x slot-loading SuperDrive (DVD-+R DL/DVD-+RW/CD-RW);
10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet
802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
Preinstalled Mac OS X;
Mac OS X was wiped out, at a certain point, and a Linux was installed - precisely - StotinkaOS 6.7 64bit.
Everything worked right out-of-the-box except the following module:
802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.
The decision:
being connected to the Internet via wire I used this instructions:
and after
a restart
the "Wireless Networks" item appeared in the NetworkManager Applet and the list was populated with various routers (their names).
The "802.11n Wi-Fi" component became functional.
